Sukaina Walji is a Project Consultant at the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT) at the University of Cape Town. She is the Project Manager for the CILT MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) Implementation Team and the Research Communications Advisor for the Research in Open Educational Resources for Development in the Global South (ROER4D) programme. She is also a Researcher for the ‘OER in and as MOOCs’ research project. She has a background in digital publishing, online communications and corporate elearning. Her areas of interest include online learning design, open education, MOOCs and research communications. She has a Master’s in Online and Distance Education from the Open University UK and and a BA in Modern History from Oxford University.
